Addams Family
The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednsday’s ‘normal’ boyfrend and his parents.

Spring Arts Festival Day Two – Choir Classes

Tuesday’s Choral concert was a terrific success.  The Junior High Choir started off the program with several pop/rock favorites, covering songs by Rascal Flatts, Journey, and more.  Soloists Maya Ferrara and Natalie Quintero impressed the audience with their take on the jazz ballad ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’.

The Beginning High School Choir followed with a very eclectic mix of songs, spanning the range of musical theater through Caribbean- and African-inspired repertoire.  Several talented soloists were featured in this group.

Closing out the concert was the Premiere Choir.  Soloist Aaron Eckert started off the set with ‘Tshotsholoza’, a South African freedom song which also featured drumming and dancing.  The group of mostly juniors and seniors sung their way through jazz standards, movie soundtracks, and barbershop a cappella selections before stunning the audience with a challenging number from the group Pentatonix.   The concert concluded with a combined performance from all three choirs.  Director Megan Goodman commented, “I couldn’t be more proud of the work these students put into this concert – their hard work and dedication definitely showed in the performance!! What a great night of singing!”
