The JH Falcon Players finished their three-performance run of “The Glass Slipper.” Gracie Elliott brought traditional beauty and charm to the Cinderella character, while Xander Billie and Tyson Amos took the ugly stepsister role to a whole new level. Chase Knappe also shined as the slightly odd Majordomo, interacting with the audience, for laugh after laugh. The ensemble added panache to the palace scenes, and the hardworking crew brought everything together in a visually stunning manner. Director Denise Johnson remarked, “This play was a blast to work on and revealed underlying talents in several actors who stepped outside their comfort zones to play unique and challenging roles”.

North Pointe’s original, A Monster Christmas, has become the most watched theatrical performance at North Pointe. From the horse-drawn carriage entrance to the fireworks ending, audience members packed into the outdoor plaza theatre all week for the showing of North Pointe’s original production of the classic, A Christmas Carol. This year’s genre of the story of Scrooge was Monsters. The finale featured a combination of 1st and 6th period High School Theatre classes. Sarah Bickley, playing the Scrooge character Elizabeth, turned in another awesome performance.
Another great night for Monster Christmas, and an encore performance for 3rd hour theater! It was another strong performance for Kaitlyn Kief, Shayla Lam, and Melissa Mena, from advanced choir as well. The three have stunned every night with their beautifully arranged rendition of You’re a Mean One Mister Grinch. The dancers once again delighted audiences especially when Oceana Jurasin, Mieja Levy, and Valeria Nuno Medina popped out of the presents during the opening number, All I Want for Christmas is You.
