NP Percussion had their first performance weekend on January 30 at Williamsfield High School. Similar to ‘Eval Show’ performances in the past, this performance was a chance for them to practice performing for an audience and judges even though they were not competing for a place or a score. They got first hand commentary from the judges themselves, and also had the opportunity to join into a clinic for each of their specific instruments led by specialists from across the country.
They put on a great first performance of this years’ show entitled, ‘Elasticity’ which is a show encompassing the qualities and fun of elastic. Through the design of the show and early intricacy of their complex music and visuals the judges are excited to see what’s in store for Arizona this year from North Pointe.
